Meetings are held 4 times a year: January, April, September and December. The December meeting is the annual meeting. All alumni are invited to attend these meetings.
We also sponsor several scholarships, one of them being the AGR/Clifford McIntire Endowed Scholarship, which has a fair market value of over $46,000 as of June 30, 2006.
In April the Association sponsors a Founder’s Day celebration. The weekend events include a pig-roast, awards ceremony and Alumni Board meeting. This event includes all AGR brothers (young and old) and their families.
Alumni and friends are encouraged to attend the AGR tailgating party which is held on the Saturday of Homecoming weekend. On Sunday the chapter house holds a brunch which is followed by a friendly game of paintball to complete the weekend.
Alumni leadership is needed to maintain a strong and vital Chapter. The Orono Alumni Association of Alpha Gamma Rho is currently searching for new members.
